Cybersecurity is a relative new program for many schools. I have no direct affiliation for promotions with any schools listed on this page, though I have attended or spoke at some of them. I have had some indirect interactions with some and have listed them here. Please conduct your own research and decide on your path based on your needs, goals, and the school that best meets those. These school are offered as an example of good prgrams to help with that research.

Norwich University – The Military College of Vermont is a private senior military college in Northfield, Vermont. It is the oldest private and senior military college in the United States and offers bachelor's and master's degrees on-campus and online. The university was founded in 1819 in Norwich, Vermont, as the American Literary, Scientific and Military Academy. With cyber crimes on the rise and a shortage of professionals, cyber security is a field that offers great career opportunities. Now, qualified students have the opportunity to follow a career in the government for two years as a security professional, be part of a University program focused in this area, pay no tuition, and receive a generous stipend through the Illinois Cyber Security Scholars Program (ICSSP), a CyberCorps Scholarship for Service (SFS) program. ICSSP is recruiting qualified Grainger College of Engineering and School of Information Science students who are planning on specializing in cybersecurity and privacy.
