Photography is my hobby, not my occupation. It is something that I enjoy doing in my free time, not something I want to wake up hating in the morning. Over the last twenty years I have collected pictures from around the country and from around the world on trips for both work and pleasure. For some reason I love architecure and old buildings. They view them as sculptures created piece by piece. I do many types of work and make it a rule that I do not censor my own work and the only pictures I hang in my house are mine.
When I am not behind the camera I am teaching data and voice networking technologies in both the government and civilian sectors. My focus is designing networks, securing networks and data, and of course maintaining and trouble-shooting networks. I am constantly learning and working on new things and passing that knowledge off to my students.

I enjoy hiking, camping, biking, and kayaking when I get a little free time though I do not do any extreme off-roading or rapids. Every now and then I break out my bow and arrows and go to the archery range. I used to be pretty good. I also enjoy scuba diving. I am trying to get into underwater photography now as well. I recently purchased some underwater photography gear so we'll see how that goes.
I use the following equipment:
